As of March 2010, JED is published in electronic form only.

Author Information: Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Environment & Development should keep the Journal's broad interdisciplinary audience in mind and articles should be written in an accessible style. JED will consider original manuscripts (on average 8000 - 9000 words long) not previously published or currently under consideration elsewhere. Contributions presented at conferences and workshops are welcome, as long as they are not published in conference proceedings or on the Internet. Manuscripts must meet minimum JED standards in terms of topical fit, analytical rigor, and clarity of writing before being subjected to external peer review. See detailed submission guidelines or contact us at envdev@bren.ucsb.edu.
